The Knik Tribal Council is a federally recognized tribal government. Comprising over 1,500 tribal citizens, Knik Tribal Council serves its Tribal Members, and all other Native Americans and Alaska Natives within its service area. The tribal government includes the following departments: a Housing/Community Services Department, Tribal Development Department, Finance Department, Information Technology Department, and Administration Department. Knik Tribal Council serves the ten thousand Alaska Native and Native American people living within the Knik service area.
