Summary:
We at the Tribe are in search for a certified Physician to join our diverse and growing Health Services Department. The physician will provide patients with high-quality treatment and diagnostic services. The healthcare provider will meet, diagnose and provide the patient with the utmost care that meets the state and national standards of care. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing, prescribing medications, healthy lifestyle habits, and alternative options. The provider will also be exposed to alternative medical devices and working directly with a diverse medical team and staff at the Tribal Health Center in Manistee and Muskegon, Michigan.
Employment Qualifications:
- A Current and Unrestricted License to Practice Primary Care Medicine and Diagnostic Services in the State of Michigan
- Unrestricted Full State License to Prescribe Appropriate Medications and Treatment of All Patient Health Issues. (Current Drug Enforced Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS))
- Diverse Experience Collaborating with Other Specialists to Provide Positive Care to the Patient
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Board Certification or Board Qualified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- MD or DO Degree from an Accredited Medical School
- Successful Completion of Residency at an Accredited Healthcare Institution
- Enrollment as a Provider in Medicare and Medicaid Programs (or obtain within 90 days)
- Valid Driver License Throughout Employment and be Insurable Under Organizational Policy.
