Wyandotte Nation Government is currently accepting applications for a full-time Wyandotte Nation Police Officer. Successful candidate will be responsible for providing law enforcement service to the Wyandotte Nation and community. Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice preferred or high school diploma/GED certificate, plus qualified experience in law enforcement. Must be BIA or C.L.E.E.T. certified or eligible for reciprocity and qualify for BIA Cross-Commission. Must pass a background check, physical, drug testing and maintain a valid driver’s license. Required to climb, crouch, work in areas that are close and crowded, perform keyboarding, lift up to and over 100 pounds, push/pull 11 to over 100 pounds, be exposed to infectious agents, chemical agents, extreme temperature and/or humidity, power equipment and heights.
