Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Domestic Violence Regional Coordinator, and in concurrence with the regional advisory councils, the Tribal Victims Services Coordinator will implement various projects that are aimed at eliminating sexual assault, human trafficking, and other crimes against elders, women, men, children, and vulnerable adults.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of high school graduate or G.E.D. required plus two years’ experience in the field
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree preferred
  • Four (4) year’s progressive experience with domestic violence service provision or administration
  • Familiarity with Alaska Native or Native American culture and customs
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Access and Power Point

Work Hours:
Hours worked are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch. This a full-time 37.5 hours per week and 1950 hours a year position. Chugachmiut maintains a non-smoking and drug & alcohol free work environment.  There may be occasional travel to the villages of the region, must be willing and able to travel in light aircraft.
